SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
The products will be delivered at the address indicated by the customer.
In order to ensure the integrity of the products, deliveries are entrusted to a company specialized in furniture shipping. We do not work with express couriers: they are not considered a suitable option. The shipping company does not provide a tracking number (as it is not an express courier). When the products are in the nearest warehouse to your city, the local carrier will get in touch with you to arrange the delivery date. Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday.
By choosing a standard curbside delivery the products will be delivered at the street level: standard delivery does not include inside home delivery, installation and disposal of packaging. Standard delivery in Italy is free for purchases over 900,00 Euro. Standard delivery outside Italy does not have a fixed cost: its cost changes based on the volume/ weight of the products and on the delivery address. In order to offer you the most competitive shipping cost, international deliveries are quoted on a case by case basis.
INSIDE HOME DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION
If you are looking for an inside home delivery and installation service, please specify that and we will ask the shipping company for a specific quotation. We need to be informed about the floor number of your apartment and any potential issues that can prevent the delivery (such as limited traffic area, non accessible street to large vehicles, narrow stairs, low ceilings, no lift, etc).
COLLECTION FROM OUR WAREHOUSE
If you would like to take care of the delivery on your own, you can collect the products at our Italian warehouse. This will be discussed on a case-by-case basis, before placing the order.
Once the production is over and the products are ready to be shipped, the final payment will be asked. As soon as the funds are credited to our bank account, the shipment will be authorized. Deliveries within the European Union require approximately 10/15 days. Deliveries outside the European Union will be agreed on a case-by-case basis. The estimates are accurate, but not binding as they depend solely on the transport company.
NO DELIVERY PERIOD
Deliveries scheduled in the second half of December might be postponed to January as a consequence of the Christmas holidays. Deliveries are suspended in August because of the summer break of the European transporters.
- Products ordered from mid-October onwards will be delivered starting from January onwards
- Products ordered from June onwards will be delivered starting from September onwards
Deliveries are made with large vehicles: it is the customer's responsibility to report any potential obstacles that can prevent the delivery such as restricted traffic area, road not accessible to large vehicles, narrow stairs, low ceilings, absence of a lift, etc.
Should this information not be reported at the time of order, any increase in the transport cost will be charged to the customer.
Delivery is considered performed when the products are entrusted to you or a person delegated by you: the date on the transport document will be considered as proof.
The goods duly packaged by the manufacturer travel on behalf and at the risk of the customer from the moment they are entrusted to the carrier. In case of delays in delivery (attributable to the transport company and not to force majeure events), partial or total loss or damage due to transport, you will be entitled to appeal to the carrier. We will endeavor to assist you in the aforementioned eventualities.
During the delivery, the unloading of the goods must be supervised and the number of the packages and their integrity must be checked. The transport document or POD (Proof of Delivery) must be signed after the inspections. We advise you to sign it with a reserve for further inspections.
